Parade participants and entrants shall save and hold the Whatcom Memorial Day Parade, its officer, directors, employees, agents, contractors, and subcontractors harmless for any and all injuries, damages, claims, costs and expenses arising out of the participants/entrant’s operations or caused by the participant’s/entrant’s officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, or participant’s/entrant’s themselves and arising out of the conduct of the Parade by the Whatcom Memorial Day Parade and not attributable to the sole negligence of the Whatcom Memorial Day Parade.

CRITICAL INFORMATION REGARDING INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS

Without exception, evidence of insurance for liability (bodily injury and property damage) is required for all specialty units, floats, motorcycles and vehicles.

 

To save time while completing the application, gather the information listed below before you begin the registration process.

Insurance documentation you will need for the application:

 

You must have a minimum limit of $300,000 insurance.
The Certificate of Liability form needs to have the following information annotated in the appropriate place:
•  Producer: Must be the name of the insurance agency.
•  Insured: Must be the individual, company, or organization that is being insured.
•  Additional insured: City of Bellingham, 210 Lottie Street, Bellingham, WA 98225
•  Certificate Holder: Whatcom Memorial Day Parade, 1901 Cornwall Ave PMB 444, Bellingham, WA 98225
Before beginning your entry registration, please refer to the “Certificate of Liability” example provided below.
