GENERAL INFORMATION

The Whatcom Memorial Day Parade is a favorite community tradition in downtown Bellingham, WA.

Its mission is to remember and honor those who have given the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the United States Armed Forces.

GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS

Please refrain from throwing beads, candy or other items at the parade floats. The City of Bellingham does not want us to throw things off of or onto the parade floats for your safety.

If you have any questions, concerns or safety issues please contact one of our Parade Marshals, they have radio communication with medical and police assistance. Our Parade Marshals wear red jackets with our logo and many will be driving carts.

If you plan on staying for the whole parade, remember that the weather in Washington changes quickly, we recommend to dress accordingly.

Bring plenty of water, snacks, and foldable chairs.
